Spinweld Fitting Supply & Install
Spinwelding is a unique installation process uses high speed rotation to weld the fitting into the tank. It leaves a clean, strong & flush female BSP thread inserted into the tank. Spinweld fittings are available in a range of different sizes (see below).
15mm : ½"
20mm : ¾"
25mm : 1"
32mm : 1¼"
40mm : 1½"
50mm : 2"
75mm : 3"
90mm : 3½"
100mm : 4"
A male threaded fitting will screw into the spinweld, some brands are still sized in imperial so we have included a reference above. E.g. you want a 15mm spinweld fitting installed if you wish to screw in a ½" John Guest male fitting.
Typical threaded fitting installed into Fresh Water Tanks (gravity filled)
Water fill Inlet: 32mm or 40mm
Breather: 20mm
Outlet: 15mm
Typical threaded fitting installed into Grey Water Tanks
Water Inlets: 32mm or 40mm (from basin / sink / shower)
Breather: 20mm
Outlet: 25mm, 32mm or 40mm. For tanks larger than 200L, the valve must be at least 32mm
