NOTE ON PERFORMANCE: Hot water performance depends on a number of factors such as input water temperature, water flow rate, plumbing pipe length and desired water temperature. This water heater is capable of providing a 37.7 degC temperature rise with at a 5 L/min water flow rate. This means with an input water temperature is 11 degC, the max output water temperature will be 48.7 degC (at flow rate of 5L/min). Since the water is heated by flowing through a pipe which weaves backwards and forward pipes over a gas flame, by decreasing the water flow rate at your tap/shower head, the water will stay in the heating pipes for longer and get hotter. Inversely, by increasing the flow rate, the water will come out cooler. It is recommended that a low flow shower head is used, which provides an important water saving feature, especially when free camping. The heater works best with supply flow rate no more than 8-9L/min. If you pump delivers more than this, add a water flow reducer like the WaterWizz 9L/min reducer which is readily available from Mitre10. Although it should work well in summer, in cooler times of the year it may not provide the same water heating ability as a household shower.

NOTE: Installation of this product must comply with the requirements of AS/NZS 3500.4
Installation and service must be performed by a qualified gas fitter
